Hyderabad,April 30:The Telangana government has issued orders to regularize the services of over 5,000 contract employees in various departments. The decision was approved by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and a Government Order was issued by Special Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao. The contract employees include junior lecturers, polytechnic lecturers, multipurpose health assistants, lab technicians and pharmacists. The chief minister also signed files related to the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme, distribution of Podu land titles, Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) beneficiaries, KCR Nutrition Kit for pregnant women and the Palamuru Lift Irrigation scheme. Finance Minister Harish Rao thanked the chief minister for fulfilling his promise of regularizing the contract employees.
