Telangana CM KCR inaugurated the newly-built Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Sunday. During the inauguration, KCR stated that the construction of the Secretariat involved the contribution of everyone and the villages of Telangana were also lit up in the same manner as the Secretariat. He also mentioned that Telangana is a guide for the country in all fields and was achieved in the same way shown by Ambedkar and Gandhi. KCR also took the opportunity to mock those who talked about the restructuring of the state, saying that they were “idiots” who jeered that Telangana would be demolished and destroyed.

The Chief Minister reminded that the stagnant ponds were the starting point for the reconstruction of the state and praised the Mission Kakatiya initiative for changing the contours of the ponds. He also talked about the government’s efforts in eliminating migration in Palamuru due to drought and solving the Nalgonda fluoride problem with Mission Bhagiratha.

KCR inaugurated the new secretariat by performing special prayers and Vastu Puja. He was sign the several welfare sceams in the new office. The new Telangana Secretariat was built at a cost of Rs.1,600 crores, and the government named it after Dr. BR Ambedkar. During the inauguration, a Sudarshana Yagam was also held in the premises of the new Secretariat, which KCR participated in. Ministers, Speaker, and many leaders congratulated KCR on the inauguration of the new Secretariat.
