Hyderabad May01: In a review meeting held at the newly built Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao discussed the progress of the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Scheme. The meeting covered the drinking water supply to Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts. The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the Narlapur, Yedula, Vattem, Karivena, and Uddandapur reservoirs, their respective pump houses, electricity sub-stations, and conveyor system works by July and lift water till August. The progress of Kalvakurti, Nettempadu, Bhima, and Koil Sagar works in Palamuru district was also discussed, and the CM ordered officials to complete the remaining works by June. Ministers, MPs, MLCs, and MLAs from the districts also participated in the meeting.
