Congress leader Shivakumar’s chopper makes emergency landing after hit by vulture in Kolar, Karnataka

Karnataka Congress President D.K. Shivakumar’s chopper made an emergency landing in Kolar district on Tuesday after it was hit by a vulture. The incident occurred when Shivakumar was flying to Mulubagal from Bengaluru’s HAL airport. The pilot managed to land the chopper safely, but the front glass was damaged due to the impact. Earlier, on April 6, former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa’s chopper had to abort landing due to littered plastic bags flying near the helipad in Jewargi town of Kalaburagi district.
