Devotees worship Goddess Sri Padmavati on Golden Chariot during Spring Festival in Tiruchanur
Tirupati,May 05: On the second day of Tiruchanur Sri Padmavati’s spring festival, devotees participated in the worship of the golden chariot. After the morning Vedic programs at the temple, the ceremonial idol of Goddess Sri Padmavati was blessed by the priests and placed on the golden chariot. The devotees pulled the chariot through the streets of Charulamada with great devotion, offering camphor harathis and paying their respects to the goddess.
TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy, Deputy EO Govinda Rajan, and other dignitaries also participated in this event.
