Hyderabad May 08: Telangana Congress Party has announced the Hyderabad Youth Declaration, a five-point program aimed at recognizing the sacrifices made by martyrs and activists, and providing job security for unemployed youth. The announcement was made by PCC President Revanth Reddy in the presence of Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi. The declaration includes recognition of the sacrifices of young men and women who laid down their lives in the Telangana movement, lifting of cases registered against youth who participated in the movement, and filling of 2 lakh government jobs in the first year of coming to power. Other points include reservation for Telangana youth in private companies, establishment of a youth commission for education and employment opportunities, and setting up of world-class sports universities. It is hoped that the Congress party will implement all aspects of the declaration if it comes to power in the state of Telangana in the next election.

the Hyderabad Youth Declaration announced by the Telangana Congress Party:

  1. Recognition of the sacrifices of the immortals: The Telangana Congress Party will recognize the young men and women who laid down their lives in the first and third phases of the movement as martyrs of the movement and provide a government job to one of their families. For their family members (mother/father/spouse), they will receive Rs. 25,000 monthly as Martyrs Honorary Pension.
  2. Lifting cases registered against youth: In addition to lifting the cases registered against the youth who participated in the Telangana movement, the government will issue identity cards to them as Telangana activists on June 2.
  3. Job opportunities: The Congress party has announced that 2 lakh government jobs will be filled in the first year of coming to power. SC, ST, BC, Minority backlog posts will be filled in the first year. Every year by 2nd June, a job calendar with vacancies in all departments will be announced, and recruitment will be completed by 17th September.
  4. Unemployment allowance: The party has also promised to give Rs. 4,000 as unemployment allowance.
  5. TSPSC overhaul: The TSPSC will be purged with a special law and restored on the lines of UPSC.
  6. Online registration portal: To make Telangana an unemployment-free state under the Congress regime, a centralized online registration portal will be set up, employment exchange will be set up in 7 zones, and skill development centers in each district.
  7. Reservation in private companies: 75% reservation for the youth of Telangana in the private companies that have received government subsidies will be provided.
  8. Youth commission: A youth commission will be set up to improve education and employment opportunities, and Rs. 10 lakhs will be provided as interest-free loan facility.
  9. Welfare of Gulf workers: Appropriate measures will be taken for the welfare of Gulf workers along with the establishment of a special Gulf Department, control of Gulf agents, better employment in Gulf countries.
  10. Fee reimbursement: All students belonging to SC, ST, BC, Minority, EWS categories will be reimbursed the fees and full payment of old arrears.
  11. New universities: In addition to converting Palamuru, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, and Satavahana universities into integrated universities, new integrated universities will be established in Adilabad, Khammam, and Medak districts.
  12. New Triple ITs: 4 new Triple ITs will be set up on the model of Rajiv Gandhi Triple IT in Basra to provide quality education to rural students.
  13. Sports university: A world-class sports university with all facilities on the lines of IMG Academy in America will be established, and rural sportspersons will be encouraged.
  14. Quality education: 2 Vidyalayas will be set up at Warangal and Hyderabad for the children of Police and RTC employees, and quality education will be provided from 6th standard till graduation.
  15. Electric scooters for girls: Electric scooters will be provided to every girl student above 18 years of age.

These points were announced by PCC President Revanth Reddy in the presence of Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi. The declaration aims to provide job security among unemployed youth in Telangana.
