In Jayashankar Bhupalapalli district of the state, several farmers and livestock have recently died due to severe weather conditions, including strong winds, hailstorms, and lightning strikes. The latest incident was reported at Ravula Pelli Sand Quarry, located in the Malhar Rao Mandal Mallaram Gram Panchayat, where a palm tree was completely burnt by lightning.

The local authorities are deeply concerned about the increasing number of such incidents and are taking measures to mitigate the impact of the extreme weather conditions on the lives and livelihoods of the people in the district. The district administration has urged the farmers and livestock owners to take necessary precautions during such weather events and has advised them to stay indoors until the storms subside. Additionally, the authorities have also initiated efforts to raise awareness among the local population about the potential dangers of lightning and hailstorms, and have urged them to report any such incidents immediately to the nearest authorities.
