Hyderabad, May 10: The results of the class 10th exams in Telangana were declared on Wednesday, revealing that over 86 percent of students have passed.

Out of the 4,84,370 students who appeared for the exams, 4,19,460 (86.60 percent) successfully cleared them. Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 88.53 compared to 84.68 percent for boys.

Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, which were conducted in April.

Nirmal district secured the highest pass percentage with 99 percent, while Vikarabad district had the lowest pass percentage with only 59.46 percent of candidates passing the exams.

Minister Reddy mentioned that 2,793 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate, while 25 schools recorded a zero pass rate.

She further informed that the SSC advanced supplementary exams would take place from June 14 to June 22. Candidates are required to pay the exam fees by May 26.
