Hyderabad, May 11; A city court in Hyderabad has granted conditional bail to three accused individuals in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam paper leak case. Renuka, Ramesh, and Prashanth Reddy were granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 each, with the condition to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for three days a week. The court has also directed the police to seize their passports and ordered the accused to appear before the SIT every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for a period of three months.

Previously, Renuka’s bail petition had been dismissed, but the court considered her request based on grounds of childcare and health reasons. Renuka, the third accused in the case, had obtained the question paper from the prime accused, P. Praveen Kumar, and had sold it to other candidates through a police constable named Ketavath Srinivas.

The SIT has made six more arrests in the case, bringing the total number of arrests to 27. The TSPSC exam paper leak came to light on March 13 after a complaint was filed by a youth. The accused individuals allegedly stole question papers from a confidential section of the Commission and sold them to other candidates.
