YS Sharmila, the chief of YSR Telangana Party, has sent an affidavit draft to Chief Minister KCR, urging him to sign it and provide assurance regarding the foolproof conduct of the TSPSC reexamination. The affidavit includes an apology and declaration by KCR regarding the TSPSC exam paper leakage, as well as an assurance of proper conduct.
In a press conference, YS Sharmila stated, “Today, we are sending this affidavit to our respected chief minister on his name, to be signed and released by him to the people of the state, especially the youth and students who feel cheated by his government’s failures in not only generating employment but also mishandling examinations.”
Highlighting the poor organization of the examination and the subsequent paper leakage, Sharmila criticized the SIT enquiry initiated by the government, calling it a mere joke. She expressed concerns over the lack of investigation into high-profile individuals involved in the crime, including the IT department responsible for the data theft. With the reexamination approaching, Sharmila expressed worries about the same management conducting the exams and emphasized the need for serious questioning and actions against board members.
To address these concerns, Sharmila revealed the drafted affidavit, aiming to hold KCR accountable for the proper conduct of the examination. The affidavit also includes an apology from KCR to the entire state for the paper leakage and promises to establish milestones in the recruitment process.
The affidavit serves as a means to seek reassurance and demand transparency in the TSPSC reexamination, considering the significant impact it has on the aspirations of the youth and students in the state.
