Telangana’s Young Mountaineer Bhukya Yadhwanth Naik Successfully Scales Mount Everest, Hoists National Flag at Base Camp

Telangana’s talented young mountaineer, Bhukya Yadhwanth Naik, has achieved a remarkable feat by successfully scaling the majestic Mount Everest.
On May 21, 2023, Naik reached the summit and proudly hoisted the National Flag, symbolizing the spirit of India’s triumph and his personal triumph as well. In addition to showcasing his remarkable accomplishment, Naik also exhibited a photograph of Bandaru Dattatraya, the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, as a gesture of respect and gratitude.
Hailing from Mahabubabad district in Telangana, specifically from the Bhukta Thanda of Maripeda Mandal, Bhukya Yadhwanth Naik showcased exceptional determination and skill throughout his arduous journey up the world’s highest peak.
Naik started on May 12th from Everest Base Camp and reached the Base Camp Mountain on the 17th. On Sunday, he reached the 5,364-meter base camp. Naik completed his expedition in 10 days. The temperature was 10 degrees cooler overall during his trekking.
With sheer perseverance and relentless effort, he conquered the challenging terrain, overcoming numerous hurdles along the way. Naik’s successful ascent of Mount Everest not only brings honor to his home state but also serves as an inspiration to aspiring mountaineers across the nation.
