San Francisco, July 26: OpenAI has exciting news for users as its AI chatbot, ChatGPT, is now available for download on Android devices in several countries, including the US, India, Bangladesh, and Brazil. The company plans to expand its availability to additional countries in the coming week.
With the ChatGPT app on Android, users can access a wide range of features, including instant answers, personalized advice, creative inspiration, and more. The app is designed to sync conversation history across devices and offer the latest model improvements from OpenAI.
Recently, OpenAI introduced a ‘customized instructions’ feature for ChatGPT, allowing users to share specific instructions with the AI chatbot for future conversations. This feature is currently available in Beta for Plus users, and OpenAI plans to roll it out to all users soon. Users can edit or delete their custom instructions at any time, and the instructions won’t be shared with others viewing shared links.
On iOS, users can access the custom instructions feature under ChatGPT Account Settings > Custom Instructions. On the web, they can find it by clicking on their name, selecting ‘Custom Instructions,’ and entering instructions into both fields before saving.
Last month, OpenAI updated the ChatGPT application on iOS, introducing Bing integration for Plus plan users and enhancing the history search functionality.
With these continual improvements and expanding accessibility, ChatGPT continues to evolve as a versatile and powerful AI tool for users seeking valuable insights and information.
