Hyderabad, January 23
Government has given good news to Telangana government employees. It issued orders sanctioning one DA (2.73 percent) to the employees. DA will be paid to pensioners in February along with January pension. The order states that DA dues will be deposited in GPF in 8 installments from July 2021 to the end of December 2022.
According to the decision of Chief Minister KCR, Telangana government has taken a decision to increase drought allowance (DA) by 2.73 percent for government employees and pensioners, Finance Minister Harish Rao said. He tweeted to this effect. DA of employees and pensioners has been increased from 17.29 to 20.02 percent, he said. He stated that 4.40 lakh employees and 2.88 lakh pensioners will be benefited by the increase in DA.
