Rajinikanth Enjoys Tropical Getaway in the Maldives After ‘Lal Salaam’ Completion
New Delhi, July 29: Superstar Rajinikanth took a well-deserved break in the tropical paradise of the Maldives following the completion of his work on the upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam’, directed by his daughter Aishwarya.
Exclusive pictures obtained by IANS showcase Rajinikanth’s 12-day vacation at the Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives, which he fondly refers to as “my home.” In the images, the actor is seen being warmly welcomed by the hotel staff with dhol beats and showered with rose petals. Donning his trademark black tee paired with off-white pants and white shoes, Rajinikanth exudes charm and grace.
Among the photos, one captures the Thalaiva appreciating the culinary delights served by the hotel’s chefs, relishing an assortment of Lucknow Biryani, Malabari Chicken Curry, and Fresh Fish Chettinad. In another heartwarming shot, Rajinikanth cuts a cake with the cooking staff, expressing his gratitude in writing.
The actor is seen walking hand in hand with the hotel staff, displaying his ever-present humility and down-to-earth nature. Additionally, some images capture the beauty of the native Maldivian women dressed in their traditional attire.
Notably, Rajinikanth’s cameo appearance as Moideen Bhai in ‘Lal Salaam’, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, has already created significant excitement among fans. The film is generating immense buzz and is eagerly awaited by audiences.
Meanwhile, his highly-anticipated movie ‘Jailer’, a Tamil action comedy, is set for a grand release on August 10. Directed by Nelson and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures, ‘Jailer’ stars Rajinikanth in the lead role of Muthuvel Pandian. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Vinayakan, and special appearances by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada cinema’s leading star Shiva Rajkumar.
