Congress Party Prepares Election Strategy in Telangana, Focusing on B Category Seats

Hyderabad August 05:With the election fervor gripping Telangana, all political parties have plunged into action, with leaders actively engaging in election campaigns. As the state gears up for the upcoming elections, major parties are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of winning seats.

Among the parties vying for victory, the ruling party is striving for another term, while the opposition parties are strategizing with equal vigor. The Congress party, which aspires to reclaim Telangana, has initiated its hunt for potential candidates. In pursuit of this goal, Congress strategist Sunil Kanugolu’s team conducted a comprehensive survey covering 119 constituencies across the state.

The survey results revealed the distribution of seats into three categories:

A Category: 41 seats
B Category: 42 seats
C Category: 36 seats

According to Sunil Kanugolu’s team, the Congress party is poised to secure victory in any of the A category seats. In the B category, the party has a good chance of winning with a little extra effort. However, the C category poses a challenge, with fewer favorable prospects for the party. The report emphasizes that winning the B category seats is crucial for the Congress party’s path to power.

In light of this analysis, Sunil’s team has directed party leaders to concentrate their efforts on strengthening the party’s position in the B category constituencies.

Amidst the preparations, speculations are rife that the Congress party may release its first list of candidates within this month. Reports also suggest that the Bharatha Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, led by Chief Minister KCR, has already completed its candidate selection process and may also announce its list of candidates soon.

As the election momentum builds up, parties are leaving no opportunity to secure a favorable position in the battleground of Telangana. The coming weeks are expected to witness intensified campaigning and candidate announcements from various political entities, all vying for control of the state’s legislative assembly.
