Shah Rukh Khan Unveils ‘King of Kotha’ Trailer; Praises Dulquer Salmaan’s Impressive Performance

Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, ‘King of Kotha’ is an action-thriller film that marks Joshiy’s directorial debut. The film stars not only Dulquer Salmaan but also features Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shammi Thilakan, Saran, and Anikha Surendran.
Dulquer, who has showcased his talents as an actor, singer, and producer, has successfully established himself in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. ‘King of Kotha’ represents his high-budget endeavor and is produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. The film narrates a story spanning two eras and is also the first Malayalam venture for Zee Studios.
Shah Rukh Khan, on his part, is gearing up for ‘Jawan’, an action thriller where he portrays Vikram, a commando aiming to rectify societal wrongs with the aid of a group of women. The film, co-written and directed by Atlee, marks Atlee’s Hindi film debut and stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.
Additionally, Shah Rukh is set to star in ‘Dunki’, a film directed by Rajkummar Hirani. The actor described ‘Dunki’ as a journey film that explores the theme of coming back home, with the story spanning various global locations before culminating in India.
Last year, Shah Rukh discussed ‘Dunki’ during the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he was being honored. He detailed the film as a significant journey that traverses different regions worldwide, ultimately returning to India.
