
77th Independence Day Celebrations with Zest and Patriotism

The 77th Independence Day was commemorated with great patriotic zeal at Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar. The event was a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. Dr. Chinmayee Tammareddy, a distinguished Psychologist, Emotional Intelligence Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by Vice Chairperson Prarthana Manikonda, Correspondent Katta Prabhakar, Principals Fahmida and Ramanjula, along with the Coordinator, all of whom participated with immense enthusiasm.

The National Flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest to the accompaniment of the National Anthem, filling the school grounds with a sense of unity and pride. The campus exuded a festive spirit with an array of patriotic songs, dances, speeches, and role plays. Students across all grades adorned themselves in the tricolor, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the nation. The discussions encompassed topics such as advancements in Science and Technology, the glory of ‘Incredible India,’ and the achievements of Indians on both domestic and international fronts.
The festivities kicked off with a captivating welcome dance, followed by a series of patriotic performances, including songs and dances. A highlight was a mesmerizing violin performance that captured the hearts of everyone present. From the youngest students to the seniors, each participant poured their heart and soul into their performances, captivating the audience and leaving them spellbound.

Principal Ramanjula took the opportunity to reflect on Oxford Grammar School’s remarkable 43-year journey, shaping the destinies of India’s future citizens.
Dr. Chinmayee Tammareddy, in her address, shared insightful thoughts with parents, teachers, and students. She emphasized the importance of self-belief and encouraged students to cultivate a sense of purpose in their lives. Drawing examples from successful individuals in sports, education, and cinema, she underscored the value of continuous self-improvement and discouraged comparing oneself with others. She likened children to diverse blossoming flowers, urging everyone to focus on enhancing their unique abilities and leading a purposeful life. Her message urged all to radiate kindness, preserve the nation’s legacy, and contribute to making the world a better place. She also reminded students to cherish and respect their parents for their unwavering support, both financially and morally, leaving a profound impact on everyone present.

Vice Chairperson Prarthana Manikonda extended her congratulations to the teachers and students for their vibrant and colorful presentations, adding to the success of the occasion.
