Mumbai, August 17: The song ‘Kaavaala’ from the recent Rajinikanth-starrer movie ‘Jailer’ has taken the internet by storm, with multiple Reel recreations gaining immense popularity. The latest addition to this trend is none other than the Japanese Ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki.
Hiroshi Suzuki recently utilized his X account (formerly Twitter) to share a video of himself dancing to the ‘Kaavaala’ song, fully embracing the energetic dance moves. Collaborating with the Japanese YouTuber Mayo San, the Ambassador’s dance performance has quickly gone viral.
The 17-second video commences with Mayo San recreating the initial segment of the choreography, attempting to mimic the steps performed by Tamannaah Bhatia in the original sequence. Subsequently, Ambassador Suzuki seamlessly integrates himself into the dance routine, joining Mayo San for the subsequent steps.
In his post, he wrote, “Kaavaalaa dance video with Japanese YouTuber Mayo san (@MayoLoveIndia). My love for Rajinikanth continues…”
During the performance, Suzuki even forms a dance group with Mayo San, showcasing his enthusiasm for the dance routine. Notably, he pays homage to actor Rajinikanth’s iconic style by playfully flipping his glasses.
The video has rapidly amassed an impressive count of 500,000 views and garnered more than 10,000 likes.
Turning the spotlight to ‘Jailer’, the Rajinikanth-starrer is emerging as a dominant force at the box office. The film raked in a net total of Rs 210.65 crore on the seventh day since its release. Bolstered by Thalaiva’s extensive international fan base, trade media estimates the movie’s global earnings at Rs 392.20 crore.
Despite facing competition in North India from the Sunny Deol-starrer ‘Gadar 2’, the trends suggest that the Rajinikanth phenomenon is set to sweep the box office entirely.
