Venkatesh–Trivikram Film Cleared for Theatrical Release
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared director Trivikram Srinivas’s much-awaited Telugu entertainer, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47, featuring Venkatesh in the lead role, with a U/A certificate. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 30.
Production house Haarika & Hassine Creations announced the certification through its social media accounts, describing the film as an all-out family entertainer featuring crime, comedy, action and family drama.
The certification marks an important step ahead of the film’s release, which has generated considerable anticipation among Telugu cinema audiences.
Release Date Changed Multiple Times
The makers initially announced October 2 as the film’s release date before postponing it to October 9. The release was subsequently rescheduled to October 30.
The film, initially known by the working title #Venky77, marks the first time Trivikram Srinivas has directed Venkatesh in a leading role. However, the director and actor have collaborated previously, with Trivikram writing the story and dialogues for the popular Telugu film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.
Directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar, the film featured Venkatesh and Aarthi Agarwal in the lead roles and became a major hit.
Srinidhi Shetty Introduced as Swarna
A few months ago, the production house released an introductory video featuring Srinidhi Shetty as Swarna, one of the film’s characters.
The promotional clip shows Venkatesh’s character, Chittibabu, complaining about his wife’s serious demeanour while praising a woman living in the opposite building for smiling at him.
His humorous remarks take a turn when the video reveals Swarna smiling shyly at another man, hinting at the character dynamics and comic situations audiences can expect from the film.
The character introduction attracted attention from fans eager to learn more about Srinidhi Shetty’s role in the entertainer.
Rohith Nara Joins the Cast
The makers have also confirmed actor Rohith Nara’s association with the project and released a poster featuring him. The poster appears to suggest that he may be playing a police officer, although further character details have not been provided in the supplied information.
The film’s title was announced in December last year through a poster featuring Venkatesh standing in the middle of a road, holding a leather bag and raising his other hand.
Venkatesh and Trivikram’s First Directorial Collaboration
The collaboration between Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas is one of the major talking points surrounding Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47. While Trivikram has previously contributed as a writer to a Venkatesh film, this project marks their first association with Trivikram as director and Venkatesh in the lead.
With its mix of comedy, action, crime and family entertainment, the film is expected to attract attention during the festive-season box office window.
Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47 is slated to arrive in cinemas worldwide on October 30.
