National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) Marks 25th Foundation Day in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, [Date] – The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee Foundation Day in Hyderabad on Saturday, bringing together prominent figures, policymakers, industry leaders, and real estate experts for a momentous occasion.

During the event, NAREDCO and Knight Frank unveiled a collaborative report titled ‘Vision 2047,’ which offered valuable insights into the real estate industry’s future.

Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, addressing the audience, emphasized the critical importance of prioritizing the creation of affordable, healthy, and joyful housing while incorporating exceptional architectural elements.

Naidu inaugurated the event and urged real estate and infrastructure developers to ensure that housing projects include ample provisions for air, sunlight, and water. He believed that this would lead to content and satisfied residents, underscoring the pivotal role of happy, affordable, and healthy housing as the cornerstone for the growth of the country’s real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Naidu warned that neglecting these fundamental aspects of housing could impede the intended progress of these sectors. He encouraged real estate investors to select projects that offer modern amenities and essential elements like clean air, sunlight, and water, thereby preventing future regrets.

He also advised meticulous planning to prevent encroachments during project development and cautioned against disturbing nature, highlighting the significant threats posed by the current global climate situation. He emphasized that tampering with nature during such projects could result in disastrous consequences, particularly in light of the serious threats posed by the current climate situation both in India and worldwide.

The Vision 2047 report projects that India’s real estate industry could attain a value of USD 5.8 trillion by 2047, underlining the sector’s potential for substantial growth and contribution to the nation’s economy.
