Amicability Diplomatic Club’s Global President and Secretary General Attend United Nations SDG Conference at UN Headquarters
New York, September 16: The Amicability Diplomatic Club is delighted to announce the participation of its Global President, Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla, and Secretary General, Dr. Tasneem Shariff, in the prestigious United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) conference held at the UN Headquarters, General Assembly. The United Nations Secretary-General is taking proactive measures to ensure that the SDG Summit achieves its maximum impact. To this end, the Secretary-General has convened an SDG Action Weekend, strategically designed to foster collaboration among stakeholders, UN entities, and Member States. This unique gathering allows participants to come together within the esteemed halls of the United Nations Headquarters, where they can make specific commitments and contributions toward driving SDG transformation by 2030.
The SDG Action Weekend spans two pivotal days: the SDG Mobilization Day on Saturday, September 16th, followed by the SDG Acceleration Day on Sunday, September 17th. Both of these significant events take place at the UN Headquarters in New York.
