New Delhi, September 23 – Google is enhancing the Gmail experience for Android users with the introduction of a handy “Select all” button, facilitating easier and quicker inbox management.

According to reports from 9 to 5 Google, Gmail for Android will now display a “Select all” button when users engage in the process of selecting multiple emails simultaneously. While this feature has long been a part of Gmail’s web application, it is making its debut on mobile devices.

Despite the name implying the selection of every email in the inbox, it is worth noting that this feature is capped at 50 emails, consistent with the web version. While it may be limited, it remains a valuable addition to streamline email management.

The rollout of this feature is a server-side change, which means users will experience it as it becomes available.

In related news, Google has expanded access to its AI-powered coding assistant, Studio Bot, to India and various other countries. Initially introduced to Android developers in the United States in May, Studio Bot is now accessible in over 170 countries and territories, with support for the English language.

This innovative tool assists developers in building applications by generating code, rectifying errors, and providing answers to Android-related queries. It offers a conversational experience within Android Studio, significantly enhancing productivity for Android app development.

With these updates, Google continues to enhance its suite of services, making them more accessible and efficient for users worldwide.
