However, 16% of respondents expressed skepticism, believing that these Guarantees cannot be guaranteed to be implemented if Congress comes to power. Furthermore, 24% perceive the Guarantees as good policies but do not foresee a victory for the Congress Party. A significant portion, 38%, considers the Guarantees as beneficial policies but doubts their feasibility, while 26% are concerned about potential corruption resulting from these policies.

Perception of Winning Majority in 2023

Regarding the perception of which party will secure a majority in the 2023 elections, the results indicate that 39.7% of respondents believe the BRS (party name not spelled out) will emerge victorious, while 33.1% anticipate Congress as the winner. The BJP, on the other hand, is perceived as victorious by only 9% of respondents.

There are 7.7% who foresee a hung assembly, and 10.5% remain uncertain about the election outcome.

Notably, Congress has gained 2.8% in winning majority perception since last week. This increase is attributed to the party’s grand public meeting on September 17th and the announcement of the Six Guarantees. The Congress Party is narrowing the perception gap between itself and the BRS, making the Telangana 2023 Elections increasingly competitive, with a bipolar contest emerging between the BRS and Congress. Consequently, “HUNG” and “NOT SURE” voters are showing a trend toward supporting Congress, generating momentum for the party.
