Hyderabad, January 28, 2025: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Experium Eco-Tourism Park on Tuesday, unveiling his government’s ambitious vision for promoting eco-tourism, temple tourism, and environmental sustainability in the state.

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Minister highlighted the state’s natural and cultural wealth, emphasizing its potential to become a leading tourist destination. “I am delighted to inaugurate such a beautiful eco-tourism park. While our government is actively advancing the IT and Pharma sectors, it is equally committed to promoting temple, health, and eco-tourism,” he said.

The CM underscored the significance of temple and eco-tourism, not only in enhancing the state’s identity but also in generating revenue. “Telangana is blessed with extraordinary treasures, including iconic temples like Ramappa Temple and Thousand Pillar Temple, as well as breathtaking natural spots like the Nallamala forests and Mallela Tirtham. These sites reflect our heritage and natural beauty, and we are determined to develop them into world-class tourist destinations,” he stated.

New Tourism Policy and Green Initiatives

Announcing a forthcoming tourism policy, Revanth Reddy said, “The government is introducing a new tourism policy focused on eco-tourism and temple tourism development. Establishing parks like Experium is commendable, and we will replicate such efforts across Telangana to create unique tourist attractions.”

The CM also emphasized plans to develop Vikarabad as a premier eco-tourism hub, leveraging its rich natural resources. “The Vikarabad forest area has its own identity. With its abundant natural beauty, we will transform it into a center of eco-tourism excellence,” he said.

Highlighting the state’s commitment to environmental conservation, the Chief Minister urged citizens to draw inspiration from environmentalists like Vanajeevi Ramaiah. “We envision Telangana as a natural forest region. To instill environmental awareness in younger generations, we will introduce a policy encouraging every student to plant and nurture a sapling in their mother’s name. This initiative will promote responsibility and honor familial bonds,” he said.

Experium Park: A Step Towards Sustainable Tourism

Praising the efforts behind Experium Park’s development, Revanth Reddy commended its alignment with the state’s vision for eco-tourism. “This park will not only serve as a prime tourist destination but also contribute to our broader goal of sustainable development. It’s a commendable step that aligns with our state’s long-term vision,” he said.

The CM’s speech reflected the Telangana government’s determination to strike a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability, aiming to establish the state as a leader in tourism and green development.
