BREAKING NEWS: Hyderabad Customs Department Foils Massive Gold Smuggling Attempt at RGI Airport
In a significant series of operations, the Hyderabad Customs Department successfully intercepted six individuals based on specific inputs and profiling. On the 4th and 5th of October 2023, they seized a staggering total of 3.734 kilograms of smuggled gold, valued at an astounding Rs. 2.12 Crores. Additionally, foreign currency amounting to Rs. 16.46 lakhs was also confiscated.
