
Hyderabad, October 5: In a commendable initiative, SP PV Padmaja of the Telangana Police Women Protection Cell emphasized the importance of encouraging playground games over mobile games. On Thursday, IPS Padmaja presented certificates to students who successfully completed a self-defense training certificate course at Raja Bahudur Venkatarami Reddy Women’s College in Hyderabad.
During the program, Padmaja stressed the need to use technology responsibly and expressed concern that technology is often misused. She highlighted the significance of self-defense classes for every girl, emphasizing that physical strength is essential for personal safety.
Padmaja further underscored the importance of organizing such training classes in every college and assured that She Teams would serve as a protective shadow for girls, providing companionship in times of danger.
The event saw the participation of Dr. Achyutadevi, Principal of RBVRR College, Coordinator Manjula, Self-Defense Trainer from GVR Karate Academy, Director Dr. GS Gopal Reddy, Inspector Satyanarayana, SSI Shirisha, Jhansi Lakshmi, Dr. Bindu, and others.
