*3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Faridabad, Tremors Extend to Delhi-NCR* New Delhi, October 15: A 3.1 magnitude earthquake originating in Faridabad, Haryana, sent strong tremors reverberating through various parts of Delhi on Sunday evening, as reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake’s epicenter was located in Faridabad at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to NCS. NCS’s tweet read: “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.1, Occurred on 15-10-2023, 16:08:16 IST, Lat: 28.41 & Long: 77.41, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 9 km E of Faridabad, Haryana, India.” The tremors were felt strongly in Delhi and the surrounding areas, lasting for several seconds.
