Revanth Reddy: Chief Minister’s Camp Office to be Established in Empty Space, No New Buildings Planned
Hyderabad, Dec 14: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy confirmed that the construction of the Chief Minister’s Camp Office will take place in the vacant space at MHRD. During a media interaction on Thursday, he addressed various topics, including the allotment of bungalows to ministers and plans for legislative meetings.
Clarifying the arrangement for council meetings, Revanth Reddy stated that they will be conducted in the old assembly building, while the legislative session will occur in the existing assembly. He emphasized that the setup would resemble a parliamentary system. Additionally, another building at Praja Bhavan will be allocated to a different minister.
Addressing transportation concerns, he mentioned that the metro from Rayadurgam to the airport would not be practical, and alternative routes for the metro are under consideration.
Revanth Reddy assured that the available space at MCR HRD and the office in Praja Bhavan would be utilized for the required purposes, emphasizing that no new constructions are planned. He emphasized the efficient use of legislative buildings and expressed his intention to discuss various issues, including white papers, with stakeholders.
The Chief Minister disclosed that the upcoming BAC meeting will decide on the legislative session’s agenda and revealed that the Cabinet had approved the Governor’s speech.
