*Grand Commencement of Theppotsavam at Kapileswara Temple in Tirupati* The sacred grounds of Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati witnessed a grand inauguration of the annual Theppotsavam, a traditional festival celebrated with fervor.
The festivities began with Sri Vinayakaswamy and Sri Chandrasekharaswamy blessing devotees from a beautifully adorned raft on the first day of the event. As part of the elaborate celebrations, special programs were organized within the temple premises.

The highlight of the inaugural day was the visually captivating raft festival held from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Seated on a meticulously decorated raft illuminated with electric lamps, Sri Vinayakaswamy and Sri Chandrasekharaswamy gracefully completed five rounds of the Kapilatirtha Pushkarini. Devotees, who gathered in large numbers, had the opportunity to offer camphor neerajanas to the deities, adding a spiritual essence to the auspicious occasion.
The atmosphere was further enhanced by the soulful renditions of devotional hymns performed by the artists of the TTD Annamacharya project. In the coming days of the Theppotsavam, different deities will grace the festival on the raft. Sri Subramanyaswamy will perform five laps on the second day, followed by Sri Somaskandaswamy on the third day with five laps, Sri Kamakshi Amma on the fourth day with seven laps, and Sri Chandikeswaraswamy along with Sri Chandrasekhara Swami on the fifth day with nine laps on the rafters.

Among the prominent attendees were Temple Deputy EO Devendra Babu, AEO Subbaraju, Superintendent Bhupathi, Temple Inspectors Ravikumar, Balakrishna, along with a multitude of enthusiastic devotees who actively participated in the spiritual festivities, creating an atmosphere of devotion and joy.
The Teppotsavam at the Kapileswara Temple is a cherished tradition that not only showcases the rich cultural and religious heritage but also serves as a platform for the community to come together in celebration and prayer.
