Controversy Erupts Over Electrical Board Nomination in Hyderabad
In a press conference at Mint Compound, Ambedkar Spoorti Bhavan, Hyderabad, the Telangana Electrical A Grade Contractors Association’s President, K Srinivas, and General Secretary Venkatesh, alongside Electricity Licensing Board member Nemala Benergy and ex-member Nakka Yadhagiri, voiced concerns over the recent nomination process.

Members of the TSSPDCL Contractors Association raised objections regarding the nomination of their ex-board member, Kandukuri Srinivas, who applied for reappointment with widespread support. The association expressed disappointment, citing significant deviations from the norms outlined in the 2021 notification (Ref: G.O Rt.No.63, Energy Power/A1, Dept. Dated: 08.11.2021).

Questioning the selection process, the contractors emphasized the disparity between the 2017 and current notifications and sought clarification on the decision to choose another candidate after the submission of nominations. They reiterated their support for Kandukuri Srinivas and urged authorities to provide a detailed explanation, cautioning of potential further actions.
Accompanied by relevant documents supporting their case, the association called upon the government to address and rectify the issues surrounding the nomination, emphasizing the need for transparency in the selection process.
