A recent report has unveiled that Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has surpassed OpenAI’s ChatGPT in a series of comprehensive multi-discipline tests, as per data from Stocklytics.com released on Monday.
Gemini outperformed ChatGPT by three percent in the evaluation, thanks to its robust infrastructure powered by Google’s custom-designed tensor processing units, enabling efficient training and deployment for real-time applications, according to Stocklytics Financial analyst Edith Reads.
The technical prowess of Gemini extends beyond language processing, showcasing remarkable performance in handling images, videos, and audio.
In specific subjects, Gemini’s Ultra version excelled over GPT-4, particularly in Art and Design, Health and Medicine, Human and Social Sciences, and Technology and Engineering. Only in Business and Science did GPT-4 perform better.
Gemini AI system comprises three versions—Gemini Ultra, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Nano.
Google has announced plans to introduce more Gemini models to customers with new updates and expanded availability on its Vertex artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Gemini 1.0 Pro, a model designed for scaling across various AI tasks, is now accessible to all Vertex AI customers.
