WARANGAL, FEBRUARY 22
Stray dogs are attacking and killing people in the state, and if a child is killed by dogs, the government’s response is inhumane, says Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy.

On February 22, a four-year-old child was bitten to death by dogs in Hyderabad, and Reddy criticized the state’s municipal minister, KTR, as a complete failure. Reddy stated that the government is failing to address the situation where stray dogs are attacking people. The minister’s response to people dying after being bitten by dogs is to suggest family planning for dogs. The family of the victim received only an apology and no compensation, and Reddy expressed anger that the government lacked even the slightest sympathy. Reddy also criticized the Mayor of Hyderabad for suggesting that the dogs were simply hungry.
Reddy called on Minister KTR to support the victim’s family before his visit to Bhupalpalli. Warangal district is currently occupied by BRS goons, and Reddy questioned whether KTR is willing to investigate the land encroachment of the MLA in Warangal. If KTR is not involved, Reddy demanded an inquiry be ordered. He also stated that the Congress party is ready to prove the land grabs.
Finally, Reddy stated that the party will not forgive the “dirty dozen” MLAs who defected to other parties. He accused MLA Venkata Ramana Reddy, who switched parties for contracts, of engaging in bankrupt politics.
