YS Sharmila Meets Governor
Seeks President’s Rule in Telangana
Due to Law and Order Breakdown
HYDERABAD, FEBRUARY25
YSR Telangana Party leader YS Sharmila met with Hon’ble Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to submit a memorandum highlighting the worsening law and order situation in Telangana. YS Sharmila accused Chief Minister KCR of dishonoring democracy and crushing fundamental rights, stating that there is no democracy in the state and that KCR’s constitution runs Telangana. She further added that the state has turned into a battlefield with complete law and order breakdown, and no section or community feels safe under KCR’s rule.
YS Sharmila demanded President’s Rule be imposed in Telangana due to increasing attacks by BRS goons, broad daylight murders, attacks on women, brutality against tribals and farmers, and alcohol and drug-related crimes. She stated that it is impossible to hold fair and impartial elections under the current regime and appealed to the people to defeat KCR and save Telangana.
YS Sharmila informed that the Governor has listened patiently and expressed concerns about the prevailing situation. She added that the Governor has assured to look into the matter of President’s Rule in the state.
