“In a noteworthy turn of weather events, various areas within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Range experienced substantial rainfall, offering relief from the scorching heat that has prevailed in recent days. According to the latest meteorological data, the GHMC headquarters area received the highest rainfall, measuring 9.5 cm. This significant downpour was accompanied by impressive figures elsewhere across the region.

Malak’s stomach, another locality within the GHMC Range, recorded 8.4 cm of rainfall, while Banjarahills Venkateswara Colony and Begambazar closely followed with 8.3 cm and 8.1 cm respectively. Golconda experienced a substantial 7.5 cm of rainfall, with Krishna Nagar not far behind at 7.4 cm.

Ashman Ghad received 7.3 cm of rainfall, with Banjara Hills and Golconda both registering 7.2 cm. In the historic area of Charminar, 6.5 cm of rainfall was recorded, while Patigadda witnessed 6.1 cm. Begumpet, a bustling locality, saw 5.8 cm of rainfall, providing much-needed moisture to the area.

Further out, Musapet received 4.9 cm of rainfall, while Uppal and Alwal experienced 4.6 cm and 4.4 cm respectively. These measurements highlight the widespread nature of the rainfall, indicating a welcome change in weather patterns across the GHMC Range.

Residents are advised to exercise caution, particularly in low-lying areas prone to flooding, and to stay updated on weather forecasts as the monsoon season progresses.”
