Electricity Employees JAC Urges CMD Ronald Rose to Address Promotion Delays
Hyderabad, July 22: The Electricity Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) has urged the management to address the long-pending issue of employee promotions in the electricity companies. On Monday, JAC leaders Shivaji, P. Anjaiah, and Prakash submitted a petition to Transco and Genco CMD Ronald Rose.
The leaders highlighted the plight of employees who are retiring without receiving their due promotions. They pointed out that despite the availability of opportunities, promotions have been withheld for years, causing significant distress among the workforce. Some of these delays are attributed to ongoing court cases.
The JAC leaders requested CMD Ronald Rose to take the initiative to ensure promotions are granted, even if the vacancies are conditional. Responding to the petition, CMD Ronald Rose assured that he would bring the issue to the attention of the government and work towards a resolution.
Northern Discom CMD Karnati Varun Reddy and Vidyut JAC leaders Rameshwar Shetty, Nassar, Sharif, Ramakrishna Reddy, Raju, Venkateshwarlu, and others were also present during the submission of the petition.
