
Chief Minister Unveils Development Projects Worth ₹694.50 Crore in Rajanna Siricilla District
Rajanna Siricilla district is set to witness a wave of development with projects worth ₹694.50 crore launched during the first year of the Republic. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stones and inaugurated various initiatives across the district, aiming to bolster infrastructure, health, education, and welfare. Key highlights include:
Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple Development: A ₹76 crore foundation stone was laid at Dharamgundam for the development of the temple. Additionally, an Annadanam Satram will be constructed at a cost of ₹35.25 crore.


Road Expansion Works: A ₹45 crore project will expand the road from Moola Vagu Bridge to the Devasthanam.
Medical College and Hostel Block: Bhumi Pooja was performed for the construction of a medical college and hostel block, to be developed with ₹166 crore.
Yarn Depot: Construction of a yarn depot commenced with an allocation of ₹50 crore.
Infrastructure Projects:
A high-level bridge in Konaraopet mandal with a budget of ₹52 crore.
Drain works in the district, costing ₹3 crore.
Indiramma Houses: Bhumi Pooja was performed for constructing houses for 4,696 Mid Manair Reservoir residents at a cost of ₹235 crore.
Advanced Technology Center: Foundation laid for an Advanced Technology Center at Junior College, Rudrangi Mandal, Medipalli.
Other Key Projects:
₹26 crore SP office building in Siricilla.
₹45 lakh district library building in Vemulawada.
A ₹4.8 crore working women’s hostel was inaugurated.
Welfare Initiatives:
₹85 lakh compensation distributed to families of 17 Gulf workers who passed away abroad.
₹102 crore in bank linkage loans distributed to 631 Shivashakti Mahila Sanghas.


These development and welfare projects mark a significant step forward for the Rajanna Siricilla district, aiming to improve living standards and infrastructure in the region.
