CM Revanth Reddy Embarks on Multi-Nation Tour to Boost Telangana’s Global Collaborations

Hyderabad January 02,2025: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is all set to embark on a high-profile international tour this month, aiming to bolster the state’s global partnerships and attract significant investments. His itinerary includes visits to Australia, Singapore, and Switzerland, with the highlight being his participation in the prestigious World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

The tour kicks off on January 15, following the Sankranti celebrations. The Chief Minister’s first stop is Australia, where he will lead a delegation comprising key officials, including Government Advisor Jitender Reddy, Sports Authority Chairman Shivsena Reddy, MD Soni Bala, and Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. The delegation plans to visit the renowned Queensland University of Sport to explore opportunities for collaboration in sports and education. Australia’s advanced sports infrastructure and academic programs could serve as a model for Telangana, particularly in enhancing sports training facilities and fostering academic excellence in this field.

After a productive four-day visit to Australia, CM Revanth Reddy’s team will head to Singapore on January 19. In Singapore, the focus will be on urban innovation and industrial engagement. The team is scheduled to inspect cutting-edge sports complexes built atop shopping malls, a unique model that integrates recreation, commerce, and community spaces. Such insights could influence future infrastructure projects in Telangana. Additionally, the Chief Minister and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu will hold crucial meetings with leading industrialists to discuss investment opportunities and potential collaborations in technology and manufacturing sectors.

The tour culminates with the Chief Minister’s participation in the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from January 21 to 23. The WEF, set to run from January 20 to 24, serves as a global platform for leaders to deliberate on economic policies, innovation, and sustainable growth. CM Revanth Reddy will be accompanied by Minister Sridhar Babu, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and senior officials.

This year’s Davos visit holds particular significance for Telangana. During the 2024 summit, the state government signed investment agreements worth over ₹40,000 crore with various multinational companies. These agreements, now in different stages of implementation, have already begun contributing to the state’s industrial growth. The Chief Minister’s delegation has prepared an ambitious agenda for this year, focusing on attracting new investments, particularly in green technology, manufacturing, and IT sectors.

The multi-nation tour underscores Telangana’s commitment to positioning itself as a global hub for innovation and investment. With strategic visits to Australia, Singapore, and Switzerland, CM Revanth Reddy aims to bring transformative ideas and partnerships to the state, further propelling Telangana’s growth on the international stage.
