Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao Discusses Trade Ties with Bahrain Chamber Delegation at LuLu Hypermarket
Hyderabad, February 10, 2025: Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao welcomed a high-level delegation from the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) at LuLu Hypermarket in Hyderabad to explore trade opportunities between India and Bahrain. The delegation was led by H.E. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Gaoud, Ambassador of Bahrain to India, and H.E. Mohamed Alkoheji, Second Vice Chairman of BCCI.
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral trade, particularly in agricultural products, processed foods, textiles, and other key sectors. Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao highlighted Telangana’s agricultural strength and its potential as a global supplier of high-quality produce. He emphasized the state’s commitment to fostering international trade partnerships and leveraging its resources for economic growth.
H.E. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Gaoud reiterated Bahrain’s interest in strengthening trade ties with India, recognizing the country’s vast production capabilities. H.E. Mohamed Alkoheji noted that Bahrain and India share a deep-rooted trade relationship and praised platforms like LuLu Hypermarket for connecting local producers with global markets.
The delegation toured LuLu Hypermarket to understand its retail operations, supply chain efficiency, and diverse product offerings. The visit concluded with a reaffirmation from both sides to collaborate further and boost trade relations between Telangana and Bahrain.
