CM Revanth Reddy Inaugurates HCL Tech’s New KRC Campus in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, February 27,2025:

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the new HCL Tech KRC campus in Hyderabad, reaffirming the state’s status as one of India’s fastest-growing economic and technology hubs. Addressing a gathering of business leaders, industry experts, and government officials, the Chief Minister highlighted Telangana’s impressive strides in attracting global investments, job creation, and technological advancements.

Telangana’s Rapid Growth and Investments

During his speech, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the state’s strong economic momentum, stating, “Every day, we are signing new MoUs with multinational companies. Major firms are choosing Telangana as their preferred destination. The MoUs we signed last year are now materializing into new facilities, boosting employment and innovation.”

He proudly declared that Telangana has achieved the highest investment inflow in the country, surpassing other states in job creation and emerging as a leader in artificial intelligence, all while maintaining one of the lowest inflation rates in India.

The Vision of a One-Trillion-Dollar Economy

Referring to his ambitious vision for Telangana’s economy, the Chief Minister noted that his goal of making Telangana a one-trillion-dollar GDP state was initially met with skepticism. However, after signing MoUs worth ₹41,000 crore and ₹1.78 lakh crore during his two visits to the World Economic Forum in Davos, perceptions have changed. “Now, people believe that it is not just a vision but a real possibility,” he asserted.

He further stated that Telangana is no longer competing with traditional economic powerhouses like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, or Chennai. Instead, the state is forging its own path by becoming a leader in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, data centers, green energy, life sciences, biotechnology, skill development, manufacturing, and agri-processing.

“Hyderabad Rising is no longer just a slogan—it is a reality. The entire world is now acknowledging Telangana’s rise,” he added.

Telangana’s Success in Life Sciences and Technology

The Chief Minister highlighted Telangana’s recent achievements in the life sciences and technology sectors. He pointed out that Hyderabad had successfully hosted BioAsia, one of the world’s leading biotechnology and healthcare conferences. Additionally, the state recently welcomed Amgen, one of the largest life sciences companies globally, further strengthening its position as a biotechnology and pharmaceutical hub.

HCL Tech’s Growth in Hyderabad

Speaking about HCL Tech’s journey in Hyderabad, CM Revanth Reddy lauded the company’s contribution to the state’s technology ecosystem. “HCL Tech is a global powerhouse operating in 60 countries with over 2.2 lakh employees. The company has been instrumental in driving innovation in digital technology, engineering, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence,” he said.

He noted that since HCL Tech established its presence in Hyderabad in 2007, it has experienced significant growth. The newly inaugurated KRC campus, spanning 3.2 lakh square feet, is a testament to that expansion. The state-of-the-art facility will accommodate nearly 5,000 employees and serve as a center for cutting-edge technological advancements.

Telangana’s Future as a Global Investment Hub

The inauguration of HCL Tech’s new facility is another milestone in Telangana’s journey toward becoming a global business and technology destination. The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, fostering innovation, and ensuring that Telangana remains a top choice for international investors.

“No one can stop Telangana Rising. The state is on an unstoppable path of progress, and we will continue to break new records in investment, employment, and innovation,” he concluded.

The event marked yet another achievement for Telangana, reinforcing its reputation as a state that seamlessly blends economic growth with technological excellence.
