CM Revanth Reddy Sets Party Agenda at TPCC Working Group Meeting

Hyderabad, February 28, 2025: Telangana Chief Minister and TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for continuous party engagement and grassroots outreach at the TPCC-wide working group meeting. He asserted that party programs and government initiatives must be effectively communicated to the people.

Addressing the meeting, CM Revanth Reddy defended the appointment of leaders like Meenakshi Natarajan as party in-charges and stressed that those who work for the party will always be recognized. He acknowledged that while many hardworking leaders have secured nominated positions, some long-time loyalists are still awaiting opportunities. He assured that the party has a responsibility to safeguard their interests and will prioritize them in future appointments.

The Chief Minister directed in-charge ministers to ensure that vacant positions in corporations, market committees, and other nominated posts across districts are filled by March 10. He made it clear that those who have been given posts must work diligently for the party, warning that non-performers will not have their tenures renewed.

On governance, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted key welfare and development initiatives undertaken by his government:

  • ₹4,200 crore spent on free bus travel for women
  • 200 units of free electricity provided to 50 lakh families
  • Gas cylinders made available at ₹500
  • Farmers’ insurance increased to ₹12,000
  • Indiramma Spiritual Insurance for landless poor families
  • Successful implementation of caste census, making Telangana a national model
  • Highest foreign investment attracted by Telangana, proving the government’s credibility
  • Establishment of Young India Skills University and plans for a Sports University

Revanth Reddy urged party leaders to actively promote the government’s achievements among the people. He emphasized that the party’s ultimate mission is to bring Congress to power at the national level by ensuring Rahul Gandhi becomes Prime Minister. He credited Rahul Gandhi for championing the caste census and SC sub-caste classification, asserting that if he could achieve such milestones at the state level, he could do much more as Prime Minister.

“Rahul Gandhi is tirelessly working for the people, going from village to village. We must not rest until he leads the country. Removing Modi and making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister should be our agenda,” Revanth Reddy declared, rallying party members for the upcoming elections.
