Tragedy in Hyderabad: Family of Four Found Dead in Habsiguda

Hyderabad, March 11, 2025 – A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Ravindra Nagar, Habsiguda, where a couple took their own lives after allegedly killing their two children. The deceased have been identified as Chandrasekhar Reddy, his wife Kavitha, their daughter Sritha Reddy (a 9th-class student), and son Viswan Reddy (a 5th-class student).

Family’s Struggles Lead to Tragic End

According to police reports, Chandrasekhar Reddy had previously worked as a lecturer at Narayana College but had been unemployed for the past six months. The family was reportedly struggling with severe financial difficulties, which are believed to have driven them to take this drastic step.

Investigators revealed that Chandrasekhar first poisoned his son, Viswan, and hanged his daughter, Sritha, before he and his wife, Kavitha, also hanged themselves.

Suicide Note Reveals Distress

A suicide note was recovered from the scene, in which Chandrasekhar expressed deep distress over their situation. “No one is responsible for our death. We are facing many problems in our career, mentally and physically. We are dying with no other option. Sorry,” the note read.

Police Investigation Underway

Local authorities have registered a case and are conducting further investigations to confirm the exact reasons behind the tragedy. The incident has shocked the neighborhood, with many expressing grief over the devastating loss of an entire family.

The tragic incident highlights the increasing stress and financial pressures faced by many individuals, raising concerns about mental health and the need for stronger support systems.
