Ahmedabad, April 9, 2025 — Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reiterated that the Congress government in Telangana is fulfilling the promises made by Rahul Gandhi during his padayatra across the state. Speaking at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting held in Ahmedabad, Revanth Reddy said the commitments made to the people—such as the caste census, farm loan waivers, unemployment eradication, and women’s welfare—are being implemented as assured.

He called upon Congress workers across the country to prepare for a united and determined fight against the BJP-led government at the Centre. Emphasizing the symbolic importance of the meeting on the banks of the Sabarmati River, Revanth Reddy said the gathering represented a collective stand against the divisive politics pursued by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, we are moving forward with the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress party is committed to safeguarding democratic values and ensuring justice for all sections of society,” he said.

Revanth Reddy added that Telangana has become a role model for implementing Congress guarantees and urged party members to draw inspiration from the state’s progress. He emphasized that every Congress worker has a crucial role to play in building momentum and defeating the BJP in the coming elections.
