CMD of TSSPDCL reviews damages and directs restoration works after untimely rains, emphasizes on revenue collection and loss reduction

TSSPDCL Reviews Damages Caused by Untimely Rains and Revenue Collection in GHMC Area
In response to the damages caused by untimely rains from March 16th to March 19th, 2023, Chief Secretary held a review meeting with Sri G. Raghuma Reddy, CMD of TSSPDCL. Following the meeting, CMD Reddy reviewed the overall damages in the Discom and directed field officers to expedite restoration work.
CMD Reddy also examined the overall revenue, collection, and losses in the GHMC area. The review revealed that 99% of the monthly demand of Rs. 1448 Crores in GHMC, including south circle, has been collected, with Rs. 118 Crores collected against the monthly demand of Rs. 119 Crores. To reduce losses, CMD Reddy directed effective field inspections, including inspections by the DPE and Vigilance Wing.
Furthermore, CMD Reddy instructed all field engineers to remain vigilant during the Ugadi and Ramzan festivals to ensure there are no breakdowns.
