Hyderabad, June 1: In the highly anticipated 72nd Miss World pageant, Opal Suchat from Thailand emerged victorious, securing the coveted crown. Outshining contestants from 108 countries, Opal was overcome with emotion as her name was announced. The prestigious title of Miss World 2025 was conferred upon her by the 2024 Miss World, Kristina Pizkova, who traditionally crowned the new winner and extended her congratulations.
Notably, contestants from Poland secured two prominent positions in the competition. Miss Poland was named the First Runner-Up, while Miss Poland also claimed the Second Runner-Up spot. The Third Runner-Up position went to Miss Martinique.
Hailing from Phuket, Opal Suchat will receive a prize money of ₹8.5 crore for her triumph. The event celebrated the beauty, confidence, and social awareness of young women, showcasing their talents on a global stage.
