Hyderabad, August 1: Telangana Government’s flagship digital citizen service platform, MeeSeva, has achieved a historic milestone by recording its highest-ever daily transaction volume. On July 31, 2026, the platform processed 2,20,172 transactions in a single day, setting a new benchmark in the state’s digital governance journey.
Announcing the achievement, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Minister D. Sridhar Babu said the record reflects the growing trust of citizens in the Telangana Government’s digital service delivery ecosystem. He described MeeSeva as India’s leading government digital service platform, citing its efficiency, reliability, and seamless service delivery.
According to the Minister, MeeSeva usually handles 70,000 to 80,000 transactions per day, making the latest figure of over 2.20 lakh transactions a significant milestone. He attributed the achievement to the continuous expansion of services, technology upgrades, improved system performance, and the integration of new citizen-centric services.
Among the most sought-after services on the record day were Family Card applications, Transport Department services, and Income Certificate applications, which accounted for the highest number of transactions.
The Minister noted that despite the unprecedented surge in demand, the platform handled the entire transaction volume without any technical disruptions, demonstrating the robustness of Telangana’s digital infrastructure.
Congratulating MeeSeva Centre operators, officials from various government departments, and technical teams, Sridhar Babu appreciated their dedication in ensuring uninterrupted public service across the state.
MeeSeva currently offers a wide range of government services, including Family Card applications, Income, Caste and Residence Certificates, Transport Department services, registrations, utility bill payments, and several other departmental services through its extensive network of MeeSeva centres and online platforms.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to digital governance, the Minister said Telangana will continue expanding MeeSeva by introducing more citizen-centric services and leveraging advanced technologies to improve the speed, transparency, quality, and efficiency of public service delivery.
He added that the government remains focused on positioning Telangana as a national leader in digital governance through continuous innovation and service excellence.
