Hyderabad: The much-awaited action entertainer ‘The Paradise’, starring Telugu actor Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, has reportedly completed its entire shooting schedule, according to industry sources.
Sources close to the production say that the film’s production has been wrapped up, while post-production activities are progressing at a brisk pace. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas.
‘The Paradise’ is currently scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on September 24, 2026, with premieres planned for September 23.
Nani’s Rugged Look Creates Buzz
The makers further heightened anticipation on Thursday by unveiling a new picture of Nani from the film.
The image has attracted considerable attention because it was reportedly a screenshot taken from director Srikanth Odela’s mobile phone. In the picture, Nani sports a rugged period-inspired appearance, complete with long braided hair, a thick beard and a dark, rough costume.
Holding a heavy gun and sporting an intense expression, Nani’s look has once again sparked curiosity among fans about his character and the world created by Odela.
‘The Paradise’ Release Date Postponed Twice
The film was originally announced for a grand theatrical release on March 26, 2026. However, the makers subsequently postponed the release, first moving it to August 21 and later to September 24.
Despite the changes to the release date, anticipation surrounding the film has continued to build, particularly following the release of its teaser.
Teaser Promises a Dark and Intense Action Drama
The teaser of ‘The Paradise’ presents Nani in an extremely intense and violent avatar. It opens with a voiceover questioning who the place belongs to, before Nani makes a dramatic entry with an acrobatic stunt.
Sporting two plaits and covered in blood, Nani is seen walking slowly while sipping what appears to be a beverage.
The teaser also introduces Mohan Babu in an antagonist role. His character refers to the people as “My beloved people of Paradise,” setting the stage for a conflict between the powerful and the oppressed.
A series of hard-hitting action sequences follows, accompanied by dialogues about oppression, power and rebellion. The teaser portrays an oppressed community rising against tyranny, with the crow emerging as a symbolic emblem of their resistance.
The final moments feature Nani, drenched in blood and seated on a pile of bodies while holding a chain made of blades. The striking sequence ends with him warding off the evil eye.
Nani and Srikanth Odela Reunion
‘The Paradise’ marks another collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela after their successful film ‘Dasara’.
The teaser and recently released visuals suggest that the filmmaker is aiming for a gritty, period-set action drama with strong themes of rebellion, oppression and resistance.
With shooting reportedly complete and post-production underway, fans are now eagerly waiting for the film’s September 24 theatrical release.
