Hyderabad, April 11, 2023: The World Telugu Information Technology Council (WTITC) has appointed His Highness Al Sayyid Firas Fatik, younger son of the King of Oman, as a patron member of the council. The appointment was made during a visit to Oman by a WTITC delegation led by Sundeep Kumar Makthala on Tuesday.

The delegation met with His Highness to discuss investment opportunities, business policies, and technology exchange initiatives in the IT and ITeS sectors between Oman and the Telugu States. The delegation also visited Telugu people facing difficulties in Muscat and Sohar labour camps to provide them with support.

Makthala, Chairman of WTITC, expressed delight in meeting His Highness and discussed the immense potential for cooperation between Oman and the Telugu States in the IT and ITeS sectors, which can create a win-win situation for both sides.

His Highness Al Sayyid Firas Fatik expressed his honor in being appointed as a patron member of WTITC and believes that this partnership will create new opportunities for investment, trade, and technology exchange, contributing to the growth and development of both economies.

The delegation included Ritzy Group CEO MNR Gupta, SSR Cloud CEO Shasidhar Sharma, and WTITC members Karim Shiek, Hemanth Sarvabotla, and Abishek Reddy Arrabolu. The appointment of His Highness Al Sayyid Firas Fatik as a patron member of WTITC is expected to strengthen ties between Oman and the Telugu States and facilitate more collaboration in the IT and ITeS sectors.
