A 14-ton weight, 40 feet long, and 12-meter-high “Veena” has been placed at the center of the newly inaugurated “Lata Mangeshkar Chowk” on the main road leading to Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The installation was erected by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to pay tribute to the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on her 93rd birth anniversary.
As a mark of respect, 92 lotuses and seven pillars were also installed to represent each year of Lata Mangeshkar’s life. The inauguration ceremony was held on the banks of the Sarayu River and was attended by a large number of people.

The “Lata Mangeshkar Chowk” is expected to become a major tourist attraction in Ayodhya and will serve as a tribute to the iconic singer’s contribution to Indian music. The installation of the “Veena” and the lotuses is a testament to the cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh and its rich musical traditions.
