In an effort to strengthen ties between the states of Haryana and Jharkhand, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatraya, interacted with his counterpart, C.P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, on April 29, 2023. The meeting took place in Hyderabad and covered various issues related to the development of both states.

During the meeting, the two governors discussed ways to enhance cooperation in areas such as agriculture, industry, education, and tourism. They also exchanged views on issues related to law and order, and emphasized the need to maintain peace and harmony in their respective states.

Hon’ble Governor Bandaru Dattatraya highlighted the initiatives taken by the Haryana government towards promoting ease of doing business and invited Jharkhand to explore investment opportunities in the state. Hon’ble Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, on his part, appreciated the efforts made by Haryana in the fields of skill development and education, and expressed his desire to collaborate with Haryana in these areas.

The two governors expressed satisfaction at the outcome of their meeting and agreed to take concrete steps to further strengthen the relationship between Haryana and Jharkhand. They also agreed to organize regular interactions between the officials of the two states to discuss issues of mutual interest.
