Hyderabad,May 01: BRS senior leader Dr. Dasoju Sravan criticized Telangana BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay for making irresponsible and hate-mongering statements about the new Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat constructed by CM K Chandrashekar Rao. Speaking at the BRS party’s Athmeeya Sammelan, Dr. Sravan lambasted the BJP, stating that the party is known only for destructive and divisive politics. He urged Telangana people to elect KCR as the CM for the third time, stating that KCR is a creator of wealth and builder of Telangana.
Dr. Sravan also took issue with Bandi Sanjay’s statement that the new Secretariat design was conceived to impress the AIMIM party and would be demolished if BJP came to power. He accused the BJP of creating unnecessary controversies over the new Secretariat, which he claimed was being celebrated by the entire Telangana. He also criticized Bandi Sanjay’s statement that the new Secretariat building design was intended to make Owaisis happy, calling it complete irresponsibility and hate-mongering.
Dr. Sravan further argued that KCR had never discriminated against any caste or religion and had ensured that people belonging to all sections live with peace and prosperity. He criticized Bandi Sanjay’s proposal to demolish the Secretariat, which he said would humiliate even Baba Saheb on whose name the Secretariat is built. He asked if Bandi Sanjay would not drink water from Himayatsagar and Osman Sagar (Gandipet) lakes as they were created by Nizams and why he had taken a degree from Osmania University, which was built by Nizams.
Dr. Sravan claimed that PM Modi is a destructor who is looting the entire nation and selling all PSUs to benefit his friend Adani. He said that the new Secretariat reflects the aspirations of Telangana people, and unlike Modi, CM KCR is a creator of wealth and builder of Telangana. He cited various welfare schemes, such as Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, old age pensions, Mission Bhagiratha, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, KCR kit, and others, which he said had brought new light to the lives of poor and middle-class families.
GHMC Deputy Mayor Srilatha Reddy, TRS leaders Talasani Sai Kiran, Mothe Shobhan Reddy, and others were present on the occasion.
